Dates are the sweetest of all dates and resemble a butterscotch candy in taste. These are ingenious to the Arab peninsula. It is usually eaten when it is ripe i.e. reaches the golden yellow state known as “Ratab”.They can be refrigerated for months as they are also eaten in a crunchy brown state. These date comes from the date palm botanically classified as Phoenix dactylifera, and is considered the sweetest and creamiest of its species. In general, our organic date provides a varying degree of sweetness depending upon its ripeness level, ranging from fresh sugar cane to coconut and butterscotch. It is the creamiest of the species and comes from Iraq. Yellow dates are a rich source of vitamin B, Iron, fibre, antioxidants, and potassium are highly favored for their unique ability to be consumed throughout the date’s three stages of ripeness: semi-ripe, or khalal, fully ripe, rutab, and dried and wrinkled, known as tamr.
